How to Help

Here you can find your representatives, how to contact them, bills they’ve introduced, committees they serve on, and political contributions they’ve received.

Contact your Rep

If you're a Kansan and would like to support period equity, please consider sending the following to your state Representative and Senator.

Volunteer Your Time

These are a few of our favorite outreaches, all of which have huge impacts in the KC area. If you have time and energy to donate, we know they’d love to have your support!

KCPS is a large, urban school district where nearly three-quarters of the students are eligible to participate in the federal free and reduced price meal program, and half of those students identify as female. We provide period products so no student misses school due to lack of access to pads or tampons.

Where We Donate

Several metro areas have their own respective facebook groups where volunteers coordinate getting meals, clothing, and other essential items to the housing and economically insecure residents of KC on an at least weekly basis. We help out in those areas by joining the picnics to offer period kits. We send additional kits with volunteers providing campsite outreach throughout the week.

Mission Community Food Pantry provides a drive-thru food pantry twice monthly for anyone who can make it. We join and offer period kits to attendees.

How to get Involved

Host a Product Drive

Hosting a drive at your school helps bring awareness to the situation, as well as helping your fellow classmates.

Spread the Wealth

Hosting drives in your community, targets a much wider audience and supports women and girls from all walks of life.

Write Letters

Writing to corporate officials of pads and tampons companies, and government officials helps get the word out as well as demanding for change, and asking for donations.
